The very beginning dates back to 1928 when a group of motorcyclists founded the BMW Club Düsseldorf. The president of the club, Friedhelm Günter, was for many years also the president of the BMW Club Europe, and later the president of the International Council of BMW Clubs.
In decades of development work, BMW clubs in Europe, Asia, Australia, North America, New Zealand, South Africa and Japan have developed into a strong community.
The merger of BMW friends is expanding from one end of the world to the other, so that today the international club organization has 120,000 members and forms the world’s largest network of clubs representing one brand of cars and motorcycles.
